BCH takes pride in being there for folks when it matters, and that includes community organizations such as Camp for All. On May 21, 2021, our team members got down to business on volunteer efforts to help this Burton, Texas, nonprofit get spic and span — and prepared for all the summer fun that lies ahead.

What work did we take on? It was a little bit of everything. The BCH team, along with folks from other area companies and organizations, helped with all sorts of cleaning and organization needs. From Camp for All’s dining hall, to storage rooms packed with fun costumes, we ensured everything was squeaky clean and in its proper place. We provided some TLC to outdoor areas, as well. A little pressure washing throughout the covered athletic pavilion and boat docks didn’t just get things looking great, but will help reduce the possibility of slips and falls once the camping fun gets underway.

You know what we did, but what’s more important is why we did it. Camp for All is a fantastic nonprofit organization aimed at giving people of all ages the opportunity to enjoy a barrier-free camp experience. The campgrounds and activities are designed with flexibility in mind, adapting to folks with all sorts of special needs. (And who doesn’t love a little summer camp fun?) It’s a pretty special place, and we were honored to take part in the work.
