Brady, Chapman, Holland & Associates, one of the largest privately held insurance brokerages in the Southwestern United States, is pleased to announce Timothy J. Brady as its newly appointed CEO.
In his new role, which took effect Jan. 1, 2025, Brady oversees operations and guides future growth while continuing to serve in a risk advisory capacity. He assumes the reins from his father, Jeffrey L. Brady, who will remain on as chairman while maintaining day-to-day client relationships.
The transition is part of a strategic continuity plan focused on leading BCH forward while looking out for clients’ best interests, Timothy Brady explained. Jeffrey Brady’s continued involvement will help to maintain continuity while ushering in change.
“I’m honored for the opportunity to serve the team and clients I so deeply respect — and the company which has done so much to shape my career — in this new role,” the CEO said. “We’ve been planning next steps for years, and we’re confident that this transition is the right choice for all involved.”
A graduate of Texas Christian University, Timothy Brady began his career learning the intricacies of wholesale brokerage and insurance through positions with AmWINS and Amerisure.
He joined BCH in 2008, the third generation of his family to be involved in the firm. The Houston native worked his way up from risk advisor to vice president roles and, in early 2024, was promoted to president. He remains involved in the industry outside of the office, having recently completed a multi-year role as president of RiskProNet International, a member-based group of privately held regional insurance agencies across North America.
Jeffrey Brady said he feels assured BCH is in good hands, highlighting that Tim Brady’s experience, strengths and commitment to helping others align well with the firm’s mission.
“The human element is extremely important in what we do, and Tim puts a lot of heart into his work,” he said. “He listens to and values others’ opinions and is willing to work as part of the team to find solutions that make sense. He’s the right man for the job, and I’m looking forward to working alongside him in this new capacity.”
The firm’s CEO said he plans to focus on helping BCH grow its team while placing added emphasis on internal education.
BCH University, a newly launched training program, aims to help team members embrace the BCH culture and deepen their understanding of solutions for today’s emerging business risks. In addition, an emphasis on recruitment will help the firm better meet client needs while engaging new generations entering the workforce.
BCH is working diligently to ensure a seamless transition for company and clients alike, Timothy Brady said, and looks forward to all that’s to come.
“We have a fantastic team I’m proud to work alongside, a reputation as one of the best in the business and a dedication to elevating our consulting services for our clients,” he said. “Good things are happening at BCH, and I am honored to be able to be part of it.”
